1. Scope
This Policy applies to FinioBiz websites, merchant dashboards, payment links, storefronts, hosted checkout pages, APIs, webhooks, support channels, and related services. It covers information about merchants, business users, developers, customers, and visitors.
Merchants may also have their own privacy policies for the products or services they sell. FinioBiz is not responsible for a merchant’s independent privacy practices outside the FinioBiz service.
2. Information we collect
We may collect business and account information such as business name, contact details, authorized user details, owner or representative details, merchant profile information, settlement information, verification documents, and support communications.
We may collect transaction and checkout information such as order IDs, payment IDs, receivable amounts, currency, descriptions, cart items, customer-provided fields, payment status, refunds, chargebacks, payout activity, callback events, and related audit logs.
We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser data, pages visited, dashboard activity, API calls, webhook delivery logs, error logs, security events, and cookie or similar technology data.
3. Payment information
FinioBiz is designed to use approved payment-provider flows for sensitive payment details. Where card, wallet, mobile financial service, bank, or crypto payment information is processed, the information collected and stored may depend on the selected payment provider, method, country, and merchant configuration.
FinioBiz does not intentionally ask merchants to collect full card numbers, card verification codes, passwords, or sensitive payment credentials through unsupported custom fields. Merchants should only request information that is necessary for the transaction or support process.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve FinioBiz, including creating payment links, presenting checkout pages, processing payment events, enabling storefronts, maintaining dashboards, sending notifications, providing support, detecting fraud, managing risk, and meeting legal or compliance obligations.
We may also use information to analyze product performance, troubleshoot integrations, monitor service reliability, personalize merchant settings, communicate product updates, and develop new features.
6. Merchant-controlled information
Merchants decide what they sell, what order details they enter, what customer-facing descriptions they publish, and what optional customer fields they request. Merchants are responsible for making sure their collection and use of customer information through FinioBiz is lawful, necessary, and explained to customers where required.
7. Security
FinioBiz uses privacy-first data handling, encryption, access controls, logging, and operational safeguards designed to protect payment and account information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so merchants must also protect their accounts, devices, API keys, webhook endpoints, and connected systems.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide FinioBiz, maintain transaction records, support merchants and customers, comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, dispute, and regulatory obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary by data type, country, provider, merchant agreement, and legal requirement.
9. Choices and rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of certain personal information. Some requests may need to be handled by the merchant if the merchant controls the relevant customer relationship or transaction record.
Merchants can manage certain account details, user access, dashboard settings, and integration credentials inside FinioBiz or through the official support channel.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
FinioBiz may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, measure site performance, understand feature usage, and improve the service.
11. International processing
FinioBiz and its service providers may process and store information in countries different from where a merchant or customer is located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
12. Children
FinioBiz is intended for businesses and payment-related transactions. It is not directed to children, and merchants should not use FinioBiz to knowingly collect personal information from children unless they have the legal basis and permissions required to do so.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as FinioBiz, providers, countries, payment methods, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. For privacy or data questions, contact FinioBiz through the official support or contact channel published by FinioBiz.
